A fund invested in by Dai-ichi Life Insurance acquired 12 rental apartment buildings. It was a joint investment with Alyssa Partners of Hong Kong.
United Urban, which is a REIT affiliated with trading firm Marubeni, concluded a contract to sell Kawasaki Toshiba Building in Horikawacho, Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki City. The price is 19 billion yen [$124 million].

Dai-ichi Life Insurance has decided to postpone the rebuilding of DN Tower 21 for the time being, taking into account environmental considerations, among other factors. Instead, it will renovate the majority of the building and lease it out. Despite the building being 30 years old, it achieved roughly the same rent as that of newly constructed buildings.
