The land was sold by Toei Labo Tech, a consolidated subsidiary of Toei. The unit price per m2 was approximately 2.12 million yen [$27,000].

The property is a seven-minute walk to the west of the bustling Shinsaibashi intersection, which is the commercial center of Osaka City. Daiei will lease and manage the property.

At the end of 2011, Mitsubishi Estate rewarded tenants for saving power as the company was under strict restriction of electricity use after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The payments targeted tenants in buildings within the jurisdiction of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and Tohoku Electric Power Company (Tohoku EPCO) with electricity contracts of 500kW or more. There is no stipulation in the contract concerning costs saved from saving power, but Mitsubishi Estate judged it prudent to show its sincerity and gratitude by rewarding the tenants in recognition that the circumstances had forced an excessive burden on the tenants.
